Our specialty is designing and building decks, but we also construct custom railings, screened porches, sunrooms, gazebos, pergolas, arbors, privacy fences or screens, docks, pool & spa decks, walkways, ramps (including wheelchair and handicap ramps), pavers and other outdoor structures. We specialize in innovative outdoor creations. What is your geographic coverage? We serve Metropolitan Detroit and the surrounding southeast Michigan areas, including Ann Arbor, Bloomfield Hills, Farmington Hills, Livonia, Plymouth, Northville, Novi, West Bloomfield, etc. Give us a call if you have any questions. How much will a deck cost? The price will vary depending on size, elevation, access, type of materials used, accessories, etc. We recommend you schedule a no-cost visit with us (click here) so that we may provide you with an accurate price. What kinds of wood do you use for decks? What is the best decking material…wood, composite, PVC, etc.? We don't limit our material choices to any one type. We use treated wood, cedar, redwood, tropical hardwoods, low-maintenance composites and PVC, depending on your functional, aesthetic and budgetary needs and desires. We welcome your thoughts and ideas, as we want you to be 100% satisfied with the outcome. Are there limits on the number of deck designs from which to choose? No! Our projects are 100% custom designed and built, reflecting on your functional, aesthetic and budgetary needs and desires. Can I reface my older deck with new material, while keeping the existing substructure? Yes, if the existing substructure can be preserved, refacing an old deck can often be a more economical choice than starting over. Refacing deteriorated decks with composites or new wood products will give your deck new life. Are you a licensed builder? Yes, we are licensed with the State of Michigan Are you insured? Yes, we carry general liability insurance, and worker's compensation insurance. Do you subcontract your work? No! We take pride in our "no subcontractor guarantee." Is it necessary to get a building permit? Yes, where required by local code. We will be glad to pull the necessary permits, where applicable. How much experience does your team have in the deck business? We have been building decks since 1996, and are now considered experts in working with composite decking materials. Do you offer a warranty? Yes. We will make sure the project goes the way that you want it. If there are any problems with it, we will fix them to your satisfaction. In addition to any manufacturer's product warranties, we offer a one year warranty on our installations. Is there a charge for estimates? No. We will gladly give you a detailed estimate.
